This 24″ “sleeve” is constructed of the same 100% aluminum used for our exterior light posts and can be easily installed over an existing 3″ post to provide the extra height you need. The phrase “trying to put a square peg in a round hole” is often used to describe something that is theoretically impossible. With our Square Post #6400 Series and the included topper #2 (Pier Mount #2), you can now mount your lanterns, which were originally designed to fit a 3″ post, onto our square posts.

 

This is a perfect example of a square peg fitting into a round hole, and it’s all thanks to Primelite!

 

As you know, Primelite has been offering lanterns and coordinating posts and poles since our early days. With a wide range of post options available, including smooth, fluted, circular, and now square designs, our posts provide a sturdy foundation for your post lights. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our Square Posts boast versatility in their simple yet elegant design. Made of gauge .125 4″ aluminum, these posts can be extruded up to a towering height of 20′, with 8 standard height options available. However, if your project requires a custom height, we can create a post tailored to your specific needs, up to 20 feet tall.

 

For projects where direct burial installation is not feasible, we offer a Shoe Base option (#6400 SB Series). In addition, we provide various square post top options to choose from, including a plain square post cap (#6401), a post cap with a 1/2″ female top (#6402), and a post cap with a 3/4″ female top (#6403).

Since most lanterns are designed to be mounted on a 3″ post or pole, we provide a Pier Mount topper, #2, that converts the 4″ square to accommodate lanterns with a 3″ circular base. In the beginning there was Street Light #1230, a stylish and efficient Globe | Post Fixture. Popular as it was, we’ve always felt it needed a little something ‘xtra“. Something _a bit more._.. And after much blood, sweat and inspiration, we achieved what we think is the perfect globe fixture. We’re proud, once again, to introduce a new addition to our Post Light Collection – a bit more… Street Light #1230X!

 

X? What’s up with the “X”? 

 

Well in Prime-speak, an “X” usually means the light fixture has a little something “xtra”, something a little bit more. So what’s the “xtra” with #1230X?

 

Street Light #1230X offers the best of its sibling, #1230, stability, reliability, LED economic savings and energy efficiency, with an “xtra” dash of class with the addition of a metal “cage” complementing its silhouette. While purely decorative, the 11/2” aluminum bands bring a classy and, rather chic, styling to this old workhorse. Street Light #1230X will now take a place among the other LED jewels in our lighting catalog. Yeah indeed!

 

These “Street Lights” or, “Post Lights,” pair perfectly with any of Primelite’s 3″ Posts. So whether they’re sitting atop a simple Pole or majestically crowning our decorative Cast Aluminum Posts – the #1230X + post combination will offer an impressive solution to many exterior lighting projects.

 

 

You’ll find our very own #6100 – #6600 Post Series offer the perfect mounting options for the #1230X and #1230 Globes. They are constructed of 100% aluminum and available in multiple of finishes and heights, from a stately 7′ to a towering 20′.

The super bright exterior fixture #1230X was designed to mount to any 3″ post and the hardware is constructed of die-cast aluminum, coated with a powdered finish for rust and corrosion resistance.

 

The recommended #6100 – #6600 Post Series are constructed of 100% aluminum and available in multiple lengths, from 7′ – 20′. Our Cast Aluminum Posts are also available in 7′ – 12′ sizes. Both options will offer strong, safe and weather-secure support.

Technically referred to as a “LED Shoebox Adjustable Mount Street Light“, #1573 is available in 4 head combinations, T1 (1 head), T2 (2 heads), T3 (3 heads)and T4 (4 heads) (when mounted on 4″ X 4” square post). Each head offers approximately 90° of swivel. Allowing you to easily position the head to exactly the angle needed.

 

The #1573 pairs perfectly with our 4″x4″ Square Post Series #6400. Together the #1573 + #6400 combos offer an impressive lighting solution. The #6400 Post Series is constructed of 100% aluminum and is available in multiple heights. From a stately 7′ all the way to an awe inspiring 20′. Street Light #1576 LED80 is a super bright exterior fixture designed to mount any 3″ post, including our #6100+ Series. The #1576 is constructed of die-cast aluminum, coated with a anti-ultraviolet polyester powder finish for rust and corrosion resistance.

 

The #6100 – #6600 3″ Post Series are constructed of 100% aluminum and available in multiple lengths, from 7′ – 20′. Our Cast Aluminum Posts are also available in 7′ – 12′ options. Both options will offer a strong and secure support.
