What’s the Buzzzzz! Primelite #23-16F

On the outskirts of Raleigh North Carolina, just outside the downtown area, sits a large, and once, abandoned warehouse. This onetime grocery warehouse is now enjoying a new life as an incubator for small businesses and startups. Its developers hope it becomes home to manufacturing entrepreneurs. What’s The Buzzzzz! A New York City Stroll

While strolling through New York City on a recent spring afternoon we came across a number of Primelite sightings! 

The first Primelite sighting was at Aji Sushi on 3rd Avenue, NYC. Hard at work were our #20/850 fixtures illuminating the sign outside this well regarded sushi restaurant.

Next up in our tour of Primelites NYC highlights was P.J. Clarke’s, also on 3rd Avenue.  This Zagats rated bar & restaurant was established in 1884 and is now illuminated with Primleite #23/16s.

Last up on our NYC tour is the Blarney Stone Restaurant and Bar located on 8th Avenue. With a respectable Yelp rating , the Blarney Stone is steps from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station (Pennsylvania Station/ Long Island Railroad/Amtrak). Highlighting their sign? Primelite’s #20/850 fixtures!

Our Primelite #487 & #488 pendants have been spotted illuminating  the childrens fashion hot-spot Hanna Andersson!  As you can see our ellipsoid globe pendants, in multiple sizes, have been featured throughout the Hanna Andersson stores bringing style, radiance and “je ne sais quoi” to this children’s fashion icon.

“to preserve and protect the night time environment and our heritage of dark skies through quality outdoor lighting.” Light pollution is the result of outdoor lighting that is not properly shielded, allowing light to be directed into the eyes and the night sky. Planes. Airport. Amelia. Primelite!

Once again Primelite Manufacturing has been spotted out in the wild! The latest siting? MacArthur Airport in Islip, Long Island New York.  Our #19/853 sign lights have been brightening the way for visitors as they illuminate the MacArthur Airport sign leading into the airport.

Located between Montauk Point 67 miles (108 km) to the east and Manhattan 44 miles (71 km) to the west, MacArthur Airport serves the three million residents of Nassau and Suffolk counties and travelers who want an alternative to the congestion at JFK and LaGuardia airports – both in Queens.*

In the past MacArthur airport (previously Islip Airport) has been visited by such aviation luminaries as Amelia Earhart and Clarence Duncan Chamberlin. Primelite is proud to help brighten the way to this historic airport.
