Primelite continues to do our part to help promote dark skies* with the release of our “Dark Sky Friendly” LED Post Light, #1198. The included LEDs are nestled in the fixture’s top, avoiding uplight light-spill, and helping to avoid any additional contribution to light pollution. 

The Post Light #1198 offers a pleasant illumination and is perfect in any urban, suburban or commercial exterior situation. Parks, parking lots, walkways, town squares, sidewalks would all benefit from the cost saving of our LED streetlights.

Primelite’s Post Light #1198 is available with a choice of LEDs: LED40 (equal to 70w MH) and LED72 (175w MH). The fixture adds a sophisticated and classic form to your exterior installations, and fits any of our 3″ posts.

We’ve been thinking, and what better topic for the subject of our next blog post than our fabulous Primelite Posts!!!  Get it? Got it? Good!

Okay, so maybe our humor isn’t top-notch, but our posts certainly are!  Square or round, 2 feet or 20 feet tall, black or turquoise, our poles come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.  You even have your choice of materials – we offer aluminum, polythane, and cedar wood posts.  Our aluminum posts come as direct burial or surface mount with a shoe base.  You can customize any of the posts by adding a ladder rest, hand hole, electric eye, convenience outlet, or shoe base cover.  We can also make round and square post caps to give your post that decorative finish.  Speaking of decorative posts, we have a selection of fluted posts and bases that are guaranteed to be that extra special piece you need.
