“Oh, who are the people Primelites in your neighborhood? In your neighborhood? In your neighborhood? Say, who are the people Primelites in your neighborhood? The people Primelites that you meet each day” *
Sometimes while strolling through the neighborhood have you been pleasantly surprised when running into “family?” On a recent stroll down one of the streets in our neighborhood, Freeport NY, we ran into some of our “family,” our Gooseneck light #20/850, brightening the local optometrists office. High above the glass, contacts and cases of South Nassau Eye Care you’ll find our Gooseneck lights illuminating the way. Primelite and South Nassau Eye Care. Helping Freeport see the light!
Continuing with our #tbt catalog exploration, this week we’re featuring a page from a 1960s Primelite catalog highlighting our “Woodline Series” of pendant & ceiling lights. Constructed of “polished” walnut wood, brass, and octagonal glass shades embellished with 22k gold-leaf designs. These fixtures were the height of 1960s suburban home elegance!
Primelite Manufacturing’s featured fixture this week is the Gooseneck fixture #23/16-875 LED22. Available in a 16″ diameter, is dimmable, and comes with a 22 watt LED, equal to a 125 watt incandescent lamp. Perfect in outdoor applications, our Gooseneck fixture comes with 2 arms for extra stability and style. The aluminum fixture can be customized with your choice of 29 powder coated colors (see color chart).
As we continue our #tbt catalog exploration, this week we’re featuring a page from a 1970s Primelite catalog highlighting our “Fiesta” collection of kitchen ceiling lights. The 1970s was a big time for wrought iron lights and accessories. Handmade and manufactured in our warehouse, our fixtures were “de regir” in any tasteful suburban home. These fixtures were available in “fiesta” colors; including green, orange & blue and came with smoked, white, and tinted “crackle” glass globes. What a perfect accent to that avocado colored oven!
#then&now offers a look at our 1970s “Fiesta” ceiling light fixtures compared to some of today’s classic ceiling lights, the #254F, #360F & the #396F. Another modern touch; all three are available in LED versions.
Once again Primelite has been spotted out in the wild. Next time you are passing through Wildwood New Jersey, check out a local establishment called Cattle ‘N Clover, a lively Irish-themed hangout serving steakhouse fare, and a wide range of whiskey & beer. And the next time you’re out for a cold one, don’t forget to look up as you enter the front doors and basic in the glow of Primelite Gooseneck #20/850. Your beer never shined so bright!
This weeks #tbt features a page from a 1960s Primelite catalog showing one of our vanity light collections. Very popular back in the day, our fixtures featured a “Satin Flemish Finish” with “Antique Gold Vein Mirror Backs!”
#then&now offers a look at one of our 1960s Antique Gold Vein Mirrored Back vanity fixtures compared to some of today’s classic vanity lights, the #4218 series & the #4018 series. BTW our vanity lights #4036 & #4044, in chrome, were featured on the TV show, Long Island Medium.
Primelite Manufacturing’s featured fixture this week is the Pendant Light #23/16 LED22. Available in a 16″ diameter, includes 10 ft cord and a dimmable 22 watt LED, equal to a 125 watt incandescent lamp. The spun aluminum fixture can be customized with your choice of 29 powder coated colors (see color chart).
This weeks #tbt features another page from a 1970’s Primelite catalog showing our colorful, and dare we say stylish, globe light collection. #then&now offers a glimpse of one of our 1970’s hanging globe lights compared to a sample of today’s globes; Retro Fixture #443/12.
